​Successful stakeholder management leads to organizational effectiveness. Stakeholders are the people or groups who are affected or can affect an organization’s actions, successes or failures (Achterkamp & Vos, 2007). Stakeholder management consists of three areas –identifying stakeholders and creating and growing relationships with the stakeholders (Smudde& Courtright, 2011). Organizational effectiveness is the extent to which the organization can maintain its value through positive and negative exchanges of outputs and inputs, while keeping the negatives to a minimum (Martz, 2013).
