Abstract

There are many claim denials that can occur within medical billing. A common denial is a duplicate claim denial. Currently, if there are multiple patient charts in the same EHR, this can cause duplicate denials. This database design is being created in an effort to help the billing staff identify claims that are needing reversed, waiting on reversal, or when a duplicate patient client chart is ready to be merged into the original good patient chart.
