For students with exceptionalities there are several classroom options that can be recommended per a students need. As an educator it is our job to ensure each student in in the least restrictive environment. Least Restrictive Environment is a requirement in federal law that students with disabilities receive their education in the most appropriate setting found fit. This setting includes nondisabled students and the student to remain in the classroom unless receiving services and therapies (Disability Rights, n.d.).
